Trachycarpus wagnerianus is known only from cultivated specimens, this rear palm has a medium-sized, single trunk and fan-shaped leaves. A cold-tolerant palm, it grows well in cold temperate to warm temperate climates, preferring full sun. Some authorities say it is a variation of T-fourunei, but the fibers on the trunk and its smaller size are distinguishing features.
