Origin: Southern Central Madagascar
This Palm has a closely ringed, medium-sized trunk supporting a crown of finely divided, pinnate leaves. It is excellent for landscaping and suits, open, sunny positions that are not too windy in subtropical locations. The ripened fruit is yellow and hangs in clusters from the crown.
