The Whistler’s subtropical garden at Matakana Palms features a large man-made waterfall, pond, island, fale, jetty, hundreds of established sub-tropical palms and cycads, making it the perfect lush backdrop for wedding photography.

Underplanted with hydrangeas, clivia, ferns, bromaliads, tractor seat plants, and frangapani, visit us to see if our garden space is right for your special day.

  • BYO Photographer.
  • Vehicles are permitted to drive on the expansive lawns if dry enough.
  • Helicopters are welcome to land on our lawn with prior arrangement.
  • No confetti near the pond, however, organic confetti is permitted on the lawn.
